Last year, Nintendo delighted the iOS users with the Super Mario Run. Now, it’s the turn for the Android users. Super Mario for Android has come out a little earlier than expected, and that could be thought as a bonus for Android users who had to wait for months. Similar to its iOS counterpart, Super Mario Run for Android features three games modes, namely, World Tour, Todd Rally, and Kingdom Builder. The game is compatible with devices running Android 4.2 and above.
People can download Super Mario Run from the Play Store for free. However, the ‘free’ tag is only valid for the first three levels of the game. To unlock further levels, users need to pay $10 as a part of an in-app purchase. It is similar to what we saw when Super Mario Run arrived for iOS devices.
It’s no doubt the months following June in 2016 have brought a positive fortune for the Japanese gaming giant. First the Pokemon GO in July, which escalated Nintendo in the stock market and even compelled people to quit their jobs. And then Super Mario run for iOS in December last year. With the launch of the already famous game on the Android platform, it’s likely that Nintendo might be able to repeat their success story once again.
